Cycle-to-Work
Tax Incentive
In the 2008 budget, John Gormley, the Minister for Environment,
announced a new cycling initiative to allow employees to purchase
a bike and associated equipment tax free. The Minister is
pictured below at the launch of Raleigh2Work
with Aidan Duff, Managing Director, Eurotrek Raleigh
Ireland and Catherine Noble from Savills HOK, the first company
in the state to avail of the Government Cycle-to-work tax
scheme. The launch was featured in the Irish Independent on
the 23rd December 2008.
This is an excellent initiative
where everyone benefits, employees make great savings on new
bikes and get to work quicker and employers get a healthier
workforce, reduced parking problems and make savings too.
Raleigh2Work
is a non profit department of Eurotrek Raleigh Ireland
set up to help both employers and employees take advantage
of the Cycle to Work Initiative and the associated tax benefits
of the scheme. We do not charge you for setting this scheme
up for your company.
